Application Procedures

Applications for English-taught programs at “Ismail Qemali” University of Vlora may be submitted:

• at the academic secretariats of the faculties;
• by email at apply@univlora.edu.al, using the application form (Annex_1).

Required Documentation

• Application Form (Annex 1)
• Copy of High School Diploma and Transcript of Records, duly legalized/apostilled and officially translated into Albanian or English, for bachelor programs.
• Copy of Bachelor / First Cycle Diploma and Transcript of Records, duly legalized/apostilled and officially translated into Albanian or English, for master programs.
• Copy of Passport (valid) and Two (2) Passport-size Photos
• Proof of Payment of the Application Fee (bank transfer receipt or invoice, according to (Annex 2)
• Certificate of English Language Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent), where applicable, or other proof of language competence as determined by the study program.

Application fee and payment procedures

The application fee must be paid:
a. at post offices or second-tier banks, to the account of “Ismail Qemali” University of Vlora.
b. by bank transfer, according to the sample invoice provided in Annex 2, to the following account:

Application Deadlines

The preliminary list of admitted candidates will be published in visible premises of the university and on the official website, in compliance with the legal framework on personal data protection.

The final list of admitted candidates, identified by their Candidate ID, will be published on the official website (www.univlora.edu.al) and on university premises, in compliance with the legal framework on personal data protection.

Candidates may register in only one of the study programs in which they have been declared admitted.

Documentation and Recognition by QSHA (AESC)

The registration of admitted candidates as students will be considered provisional until the completion of the official recognition procedure of their educational documents by QSHA (Albanian Educational Services Center). Candidates are required to submit all necessary documentation, duly legalized/apostilled and translated into Albanian or English, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The University of Vlora will, upon request and whenever feasible, assist international candidates with the administrative and legal procedures required for the recognition of their educational documents, as well as with obtaining a student visa and residence permit in Albania.
